Issues and Answers Night
The Glenwood Springs Chamber Resort Association, the Glenwood Springs Post Independent and KMTS host the Issues and Answers Forum each fall and spring when there is an election. The community is invited to attend this educational event.
2025 Issues and Answers City Council Candidate Forum
When: Tuesday, March 4 at 5:30 p.m.
Where: Glenwood Springs City Hall, 101 West 8th Street, Glenwood Springs
The public is invited to attend in person or virtually. The virtual participation link will be posted at glenwoodchamber.com, postindependnet.com and kmts.com prior to the event. Spanish interpretation will be available online, and a recording will be shared after the event.
Event Format:
- Candidates will give a two-minute opening and two-minute closing statement.
- All candidates will participate in the Q&A together, answering the same questions in rotating order. Candidates will not be grouped by wards.
- Each response is limited to 90-seconds, with a timer providing cues.
- Ron Milhorn, KMTS News Director, will moderate.
Questions:
- No live audience questions will be taken. Questions will be sourced from both community members and a media panel. Community members can submit questions in advance by February 28 at 5 p.m.
- The media panel will review submissions to eliminate duplicates and ensure a broad range of topics. Not all submitted questions are guaranteed to be asked.
