Get Glenwood Going Grant Funds Awarded to 132 Local Businesses
The City of Glenwood Springs, Downtown Development Authority and the Glenwood Springs Chamber Foundation awarded 132 businesses with grants of approximately $2,200 through the Get Glenwood Going Grant for business relief.
The grant program is an historic collaboration among organizations to provide much needed assistance to businesses that are hurting throughout our community. The program had a total of $300,000 in funds to award to eligible businesses. All the funds were awarded and split equally among eligible businesses that applied.
Eligibility for these grants was limited to businesses within the city limits of Glenwood Springs, that pay commercial property taxes, and were registered as a business with the City.
Businesses are encouraged to contact the City of Glenwood Springs Economic Development Department to learn about additional opportunities for business support, including a small business Revolving Loan Fund, and business support services provided by the Northwest Colorado SBDC and Colorado Mountain College.
