GSCRA Member Spotlight: YouthZone

What goods or services do you offer? YouthZone offers counseling, substance education and diversion and family support.

How have you adjusted to serve your clients during these unprecedented times? YouthZone has continued to provide support for youth in the community. Some services have switched to a virtual platform. However, intakes and individual counseling are available in-person as long as masks are worn.

What’s the response been? What comments have you heard from the public or from your employees? Things are going well. YouthZone staff is definitely ready to get back to meeting with groups. We are currently brainstorming how to start conducting in-person groups as consciously and safely as possible for the future.
