  • Start by reaching out to those banks and/or credit unions that you may have a personal or business banking relationship with (checking accounts, auto loans, lines of credit, etc.).  Many banks and credit unions are very active in SBA financing and can assist you in accessing competitive financing.  For a list of SBA Participating Lenders, please reference Pages 57-58 of the SBA's Colorado 2016-2017 Small Business Resource Guide.
  • Accion Colorado - Provides access to the resources your business needs to grow, including small business loans from $1,000-$1,000,000.
  • Colorado Enterprise Fund - A nonprofit lending source specializing in small business loans from $1,000-$500,000 for existing businesses and start-ups.
  • Denver Office of Economic Development - For businesses that locate or expand in targeted industrial or commercial business areas within the City, the Denver Office of Economic Development Small Business Lending Group offers “gap” financing to eligible start-up and/or expanding businesses.  You can download their 2016 Denver Capital Matrix which provides a comprehensive directory of financing sources, from traditional bank lending, to venture capital firms, private equity firms, angel investors, mezzanine sources and more.
  • Mile High Community Loan Fund - provides short-term loans to nonprofit and for-profit organizations for, 1) the development or preservation of affordable housing, 2) the development, redevelopment or renovation of commercial real estate in targeted neighborhood revitalization areas, and, 3) Non-profit organizations that serve low-income populations for the purchase and/or construction of facility space.
  • Colorado Housing and Finance Authority - Helps local businesses grow and thrive with competitive term financing for commercial real estate and equipment purchases.
  • Rockies Venture Club - the oldest, longest running angel investing group in the United States and the sixth largest angel group in the country that hosts countless events providing opportunities to meet potential investors. ​​​

  • Accion Colorado - Provides access to the resources your business needs to grow, including small business loans from $1,000-$1,000,000.
  • Colorado Enterprise Fund - A nonprofit lending source specializing in small business loans from $1,000-$500,000 for existing businesses and start-ups.
  • SBAExpress Line of Credit - The SBAExpress Loan or Line of Credit is a flexible smaller loan up to $350,000 that a designated lender can provide to its borrower.  For a list of SBAExpress lenders in Colorado, please reference Pages 27-28 of the SBA's Colorado 2016-2017 Small Business Resource Guide.
