All are invited to the Feb. 12 grand opening of Morgridge Commons, the state-of-the-art meeting space built to support the collaboration and training needs of the Roaring Fork Valley, Garfield County and Western Slope.
Morgridge Commons is managed by Colorado Mountain College in partnership with the Garfield County Public Library District. It is next to the college’s downtown Glenwood offices and upstairs from the Glenwood Springs Branch Library and CMC parking garage. Over $2.2 million was raised through philanthropy and other generous donors to make the space possible.
The free open house features a ribbon cutting and program at 1:00, and tours of the high-tech features, kitchen, meeting rooms and CMC ArtShare gallery until 6:00. Morgridge Commons is located at 815 Cooper Avenue, second floor.
