Dealing With Humans: How Customer Service Can Save the World
Tuesday, March 18 | 8:30-10 a.m
Glenwood Springs Library | 815 Cooper Ave
Presented by Don Chaney of Dealing With Humans
Most of us have been to seminars on Customer Service. But what about a seminar that talks about serving humans?
"What's the difference?", you ask. One is as a transaction, the other is an interaction. Dealing With Humans reminds us how easy it is to forget that it's not "us versus them" in dealing with challenging customers, guests, and clients. It is all of us, in it together. This seminar will have you remembering why you got into the business of dealing with humans in the first place, and give you tools for dealing with your customers and their occasional challenges, but turning those situations into long, fruitful relationships with your guests. You will learn how to make your business a place your customers feel heard, appreciated, and served. This is not another customer service talk. This is about knowing WHY your customers are the way they are, and how to effectively, and with true empathy and kindness, deal with them.
Key Takeaways:
- Tools for dealing with guests, customers, and clients, in positive and negative situations.
- A new respect and sense of appreciation for your role fostering and modeling positive human communication.
- Learning to turn transactions, large and small, into meaningful human interactions, making your customers love doing business with you.
